2011 Salomon Patrol freestyle skiing poles

Hey bloggers, this posting will be a review of the 2011 Patrol pole by salomon. The Salomon Patrol Ski Poles are part of Salomon's Performance series for 2010 and includes sport baskets and bi-material racing grip for your freestyle pleasure. This pole is made out a very light aluminum die cast built for durability in the park but also so that if you eat snow the pole will hold up.This pole retails for $47.99 Canadian, which is quite a lot cheaper than other poles that have the same quality and attributes. The grip on the pole is made out a rubber compound that after heating moulds to fingers on your gloves, so that you feel even closer to home when your on the slopes. Overall this is very good buy and I would recomend it to any person who needs a new set of poles that they want to last a while.

Salomon Brigade Helmet review

Hey bloggers, today I will be doing a review of the Salomon Brigade skiing and snowboarding helmet for the 2011 model. It is a very light and reasonably priced helmet that comes with built in headphones in the ear flaps. The biggest draw to this helmet is all the features and different things that it can do. The earpieces are very good quality headphones, the earpieces come out and can be replaced, the foam in the helmet comes out so you can wear a hat under it and last but not least it has holes for interchangable Salomon pins to go. It is very stylish and anybody no matter pro or beginner would feel good wearing this on the hill. It has a very long warranty on it and if anything happens Salomon will provide you with a brand new helmet. It comes in 3 different color schemes. The three schemes are Black and yellow, Pink with blue and yellow and Black with gold. This season I wore the Black and Gold helmet and loved how many compliments I got on the hill! I would recommend this product to anyone that skis or snowboards and I hope that this Post will help you make a better choice as to what helmet best suits your need.
Have a good day :)

Salomon SPK freestyle boot

Hey bloggers!Today I will be doing a review and overall follow up on the 2011 Salomon SPK Kreation ski boot. This boot retails for $289.99(CAD)This boot is designed for an entry level to intermediate freestyle skier. This boot is very wide so it will not be a good fit for all skiers. This boot is very durable and at the same time holds it on weight wise agaisnt the more expensive boots. For the price this boot cannot be beat and if you are just starting out it is the perfect boot for you. The one problem that I have found with this boot is that the instep is very low and has a ridge in it so it may sometimes dig into your foot. This boot comes in two colors. The red and black scheme adn also the yellow and black scheme. In my personal opinion the Red and black looks nicer only because of the yellow used in the other scheme. The boot is the lowest model of the three in the SPK series but offers a lot of the features of the other boots at only a fraction of the price. The boot has a one year warranty as long as you have your original reciept and the boot has not cracked in any places. In conclusion Im not a fan of this boot at all due to the experience I had with it, but if it fits your foot and you don't feel any pain this is the boot for you!

Thanks guys, and see you again soon

Salomon threat review

Hi readers, Welcome to my new blog about salomon skiing products, most of which will fall under the park and pipe style of skiing.

Today I will be doing a review of the 2011 Salomon threat ski. This ski is for aspiring park riders who also want to ski the whole mountain. If you don't ski that hard or often, this is the ski for you, but if you are skiing every weekend and want this ski to last a lomg time, do not buy this ski.

This ski has decent durability, but once you start thrashing this ski, it will begin to fall apart due to the lightweight construction. Salomon does offer a 1-year warranty, but this warranty is a hassle to obtain depending on where you are, because Salomons factory is located in quebec. This ski only goes up to size 162 so it's for lighter and smaller skiers, who don't plan on riding to hard.

Overall this ski is a decent buy for the price, but is not recommended if durability is what you are looking for.In conclusion this ski desreves a 6/10, due to its lightweight and smooth ride but letdown of poor constrction.
